北京大学无线电电子学系学士(1992)，美国东北大学电子与计算机工程系硕士(1997)，博士(2001)。现任北京大学遥感与地理信息系统研究所副教授，空间智能计算实验室主任，硕士生导师，IEEE高级会员，国际对地卫星观测委员会（CEOS）教育与培训工作组成员。曾任美国麻省大学电子工程系微波遥感实验室博士后研究员，美国海洋大气管理局（NOAA）“飓风猎手”科研队成员，美国Empirix公司软件架构师等。2003年回国后，主要参与国家863数字城市科研课题工作，负责“城市地址地理编码”子课题，领导开发的地址地理编码（Address Geocoding）原型系统针对规范地址的正确匹配率达95%以上。目前研究领域有中文地址地理编码，空间信息智能计算与复杂系统。已发表学术论文20余篇，其中SCI/EI检索论文10余篇。
